FIDOCS is one of the main non-fiction film festivals in the region. We are an interdisciplinary space for exhibition, discussion and reflection on the cinema of the real. We have three official competitions: National, International and Emerging Short Film Competition; as well as a Latin American first cut competition, Docs in Progress in association with Conecta.
Antonia Girardi is programmer and screenwriter. She co-wrote the short film Raptor, by Felipe Gálvez, and his feature film The Settlers, premiered at Cannes 2023. Since 2019, she directs FIDOCS, Santiago International Documentary Film Festival. Currently she is head of acquisitions of Guayaba Film, and Program Manager of Pop Up Film Residency.
