The Santiago International Documentary Film Festival FIDOCS has become the main space for meeting, diusion, and competition of non-fiction cinema in Chile and Latin America, dedicated to promoting dialogue, reflection, and audience formation around the documentary film. It seeks to represent the spirit of contemporary cinema, exploring the diverse paths of documentary film and the drifts of non-fiction in works where the question of «the real» is addressed by tensing genres and disciplinary boundaries.
