The Guardian Documentaries are socially engaged films, an expression of the Guardian’s core editorial purpose and ethos. We commission and curate compelling, character-led shorts from around the world for our global digital audience. We look for films that are about important, intelligent, contemporary subjects that have the power to provoke, surprise, and engage us emotionally.
Katya has worked as a self-shooting director and editor for the Guardian for over a decade, creating a critically acclaimed portfolio of work ranging from interactive feature series to one-off documentaries.
