FEMCINE is the only women’s film festival in the country. It extends for six days features more than 80 national and international feature films and short films. Its programming has three competitions for finished films, one for Work In Progress, screenings for various audiences plus workshops and debate. The 10th edition will take place between March 17th and 22nd, 2020, in six municipalities and nine theatres in the capital of Chile.
Helen Huthnance. Is an archaeologist at the University of Georgia with a diploma in Project Management. She is an actress and theater director. In 2012, she joined FEMCINE, where in addition to being part of the board of directors, she supervises the area of competition and coordination of jurors, and international guests.
Areas of interest: Feature and short films, fiction and non-fiction, directed by women or featuring lead roles by women.
