Synopsis

In the 80s, during Pinochet’s dictatorship, a group of radio amateurs began to communicate with mysterious people who claimed to live on «Friendship Island» in a close relationship with an alien race; this is the starting point of a science fiction documentary about a delirious myth that has trapped thousands of followers.

  Filmmaker with a mention in editing. Since 2008 he has worked as a screenwriter and editor for various film and television projects. He currently combines his independent audiovisual works with film teaching. Robar a Rodin is his debut in the documentary feature film.

• Diego Breit

  Producer

  Diego Breit Lira is a Chilean documentary filmmaker and founder of the production company Glaciar Films. He studies cinema at the Vienna Film Academy, and since 2016 he has directed and produced documentary projects in Chile in co-production with Austria and Italy.
