Synopsis

For 19 years, Lucía, a cabaret singer, and Maribel, her partner, have lived freely in a rural community in central Cuba. The reproduction of the macho pattern and alcohol are today the only impediment to their realization as a couple.

  Gretel Medina was born in 1981 in Cienfuegos, Cuba. She has a degree in Cinema and in Sociocultural Studies. Her short films Destino M6 and A la hora de la sopa were screened at various international festivals. She has been head of the First Year Department of EICTV, Cuba, for the last eight years.

  Havana, Cuba, 1985. She studied Film and TV. She was the line producer of El gran Fellove (Dir. Matt Dillon) and 7 días en La Habana (Dir. Gaspar Noé), among other projects, and executive producer of various short films and documentaries. She currently works as a creative executive at Amazon Studios Mx.
