Synopsis
At the age of 18, Fabian is determined to return to the ring and take on the most important fight of his life: to be recognized as the first transgender boxer in Ecuador. This leads him to confront sports authorities and a conservative society that rejects him and, along the way, to become a reference in activism for transgender children.

Co-writer of the documentary MAMA, winner of SANFIC Industria DocsMX (2021). Director of short films for TVHOY channel (2014). Co-writer of the feature documentary film Carmela and the Travelers and writer of the documentary Planeta Verde for DirecTV (2018). Master’s degree in Film and TV Scriptwriting at UPSA, Spain.
Producer
He directed, among others, the short films Hopeland (Terra di Tutti Film Fest 2018) and MAMA (winner Arica Nativa 2019). He produced Mother Moon (2018), Ukamau y Ké (2016), and the short film Wawamama (2021). He is currently co-directing Carmela and the Travelers (National Fund of Ecuador, IDFAcademy, Miradasdoc, DocsMX). He holds an MFA in Social Documentary Film from the School of Visual Arts of New York.
