Synopsis

Fifty years ago, the struggle for the lands in rural communities of Cusco was filmed. A group of filmmakers brought these images back to the province of Paucartambo, Cusco, and proposed to the villagers of the area to build a community memory through the creation of a new film.

  Filmmaker and researcher. Member of the Visual Anthropology Research Group at PUCP (GIAV) and of the Documentary Research Network (REDOC Research). He is currently pursuing a doctorate in anthropology and is in the post-production stage of his third feature film, Good Morning, Wiraqocha.

  Illari is a creative producer based in Lima, Peru. She began her career in 2007. She was selected in Bolivia Lab 2018, Br Lab 2018, Encuentro de Productores – FICCI 2019, Primer Corte – Ventana Sur 2021, WIP Cine Latino Rencontres Toulouse 2022 and Open Doors – Locarno 2022.

  Producer, communicator, and visual anthropologist. Member of the Research Group on Communication and Subjectivities. CEO at Willay Audio & Video, which produced the documentary feature film Good Morning, Wiraqocha, among other productions.
