Synopsis

Henri the last pirate, follows Loti, the son of Henri Garcia, a French diver on the Cousteau team, who has decided to leave his European life behind and settle in Rapa Nui. During an expedition to the top of a volcano, Henri finds a crystal ball submerged in the lagoon. The film explores Henri’s life and his sudden death.

• Julián Fernández Prieto

  Julián Fernández Prieto is the founder of the -1 Cine Project in Puerto Varas, a documentary filmmaker and diver, and currently president of the Network of Cinemas of Chile. He is producing his first feature film, Henri the last pirate, winner of SANFIC 2019, Tribeca Film Institute 2020, and SANFIC 2022.
