Synopsis

Caroline has Mapuche ancestry. In a home recording, she records her grandmother named Rosa Ñancucheo Huircallin. This recording moves her and connects her with her roots, initiating an internal journey leading her to her ancestors’ origin.

  She is a producer, and cultural manager, living in Punta Arenas since 2002. She is currently directing her first feature documentary En búsqueda de Karukinka, and in the post-production of Paniri on the Route of a Hero, a documentary about the revolutionary indigenous leader Likanantay.
