Synopsis

After the death of a recognized indigenous leader, Adam hesitates to assume as the new Lonko, as tradition dictates. The weight of responsibility and the desire for power of his younger brother lead him on a journey of inner search and transformation. Adam will find the answers to recover his ancient lineage through premonitory dreams.

  Journalist and documentary filmmaker. Lonko, a Journey to the Roots is his debut as a documentary feature film director. In 2021, he premiered his first documentary series as a director with Ancestral Secret: Guardians of Indigenous Medicine, a series of twelve documentaries on indigenous communities in America, from the USA to Chile.
