Synopsis

In the Bolivian Amazon, a woman undertakes the arduous task of rescuing the baroque music scores granted by the Jesuits at risk of disappearing and, at the same time, recovering the melodies of oral tradition. Raquel must now take on a new mission: to grant other possible futures to Moxeña women through music teaching.

• Marilina Calos

  Director

  Marilina Calós is a musician and photographer from Buenos Aires. She composed the original music for Magoya (theatre), El termo y mujer perseverante (Senderos Films, 2015/ 2022), and Emancipadas (Chile, 2019 TV series). She was also the locationist in the film Bar El Chino (2003). She is directing his feature debut documentary.

• Soledad San Julián

  Producer

  Soledad San Julián is a founding partner of Senderos Films, a leading producing company in northern Argentina, specializing in local production services since 2011. She is a Cinematographic Technician from IDAC-2001, Argentina, and EICTV-Cuba, 2020. She is a producer of creative documentary films.

• Alejandro Suárez Castro

  Producer and Script consultant for the feature films Bárbara (2016) and Santa Clara (2019) by Pedro Antonio Gutiérrez. Currently, he is developing his first feature film, The Dog in the Year of the Dog, winner of the Developing Fund by Ibermedia.
