Across the vast pampas and piercing mountains of Chilean Patagonia, a handful of Gauchos continue to live their isolated and traditional lifestyle in distant outposts. Their interweaving stories reveal an intimate and mesmerising portrait of these iconic South-American figures who are faced with the end of their way of life due to modernisation.

  Matías, is a Chilean-Australian filmmaker, specializing in cultural documentaries. He has been recognized at festivals such as Sydney Film Festival and A.I.D.C. and co-directed the series For ABCTV «8 Nights Out West». He has also edited award-winning documentaries showcased at AIDC and MIFF.

  Producer

  Carolina, an Australian producer with Chilean heritage, has worked in film and television for nearly 20 years. Her film «I’m Wanita» won international awards, and she recently produced «Midnight Oil: The Hardest Line», distributed by Sony Music Vision.

• Cristian

  Valle Celedón

  Producer

  Cristián was born in Valparaíso, Chile, and settled in the subantarctic region in 1998. He is an filmmaker, cinematographer, and producer at Wolf Producciones, creating content focused on Patagonian-Antarctic identity. He is the director of the FICAMS Festival and a member of ADOC, ACC, and API.
