Synopsis

Marina, traces with her father Daniel, a retired sailor, a shared memory that reconstructs a bond shaped by a profession at sea and a childhood on solid ground. Through found footage and current recordings, they navigate questions related to distance, fatherhood, upbringing, the sea, and detachment.

  Director

  Marina Nerea Malchiodi is an Imagen and Sound Designer and works as a screenwriter and assistant director. She is also a teacher at the University of Buenos Aires. She directed «Los primos esperan» (Mar del Plata Film Festival, 2020) and produced the documentary «Nueva Casa» (BAFICI, 2019).

  Producer

  Mariano Pozzi is an Image and Sound Designer from UBA. He works as a producer, director and scriptwriter in film, television and advertising. His productions have participated in BAFICI, Cannes, Canneseries, Buenos Aires Series, Malaga, IDFA, and San Diego Latino; among others.

  Purriños

  Producer

  Sol Purriños is a filmmaker, a graduate of CIC, and the founder of Libero Films. She works as a producer, director, and distributor in film and advertising. Her projects have been selected at festivals such as the Warsaw International Film Festival and the Chicago Latino Film Festival.
