Synopsis

The Door Is There portrays the birth of a friendship between two men, while one helps the other to die. The acceptance of pain, the sense of humor, and commitment to family and friends, will go through the virtual talks of Fernando and Enric since the pandemic did not allow them to meet.

• Lucila Bortagaray

  She is an independent producer and teacher at the Faculty of Arts. She recently participated in the production of the documentary We Are Our Mountains, directed by Federico Lemos. She coordinated the Uruguay Film Commission and organized missions to international festivals and markets.

• Ramón Cardini

  For more than 15 years, he has been working on documentary projects of international scope. He has premiered content on Netflix, Amazon, Al Jazeera, BBC, and Nat Geo, among others. He got mentions at distinguished festivals for his work on the documentaries Returning Home and Catherine’s Bones.

• Andrés Rodríguez Colombo

  Producer

  Creative director and Producer for more than twenty years. He worked for the main Uruguayan channels and Sun Channel. He was the general director of TV Ciudad de Montevideo and spearheaded its transformation, creating new formats and achieving transformative audience ratings for this channel.
