Four women converge on an invisible border in southeastern Mexico at a time in their lives determined by migration and single motherhood. They face alone the lack of work, bureaucratic wear and tear, and the constant external threat of violence that inevitably overtakes them.
The Whisper of a Seed is her third feature film in production. She received a grant from Sistema Nacional de Creadores in Mexico to direct Formas de atravesar un territorio. Graduate of the Master’s degree in Creative Documentary at the UAB and the Master’s degree in Film Essay at the EICTV.
Mexican filmmaker graduate of the Master’s degree in Creative Documentary at the UAB Barcelona. His debut feature Victorio won at GIFF 2008. His latest short film premiered at Moscow MIFF 44. He currently directs a documentary series about oppression, violence, and abuse behind a cup of coffee.
