Synopsis

Ume finishes shooting her documentary in the same place she visited years ago, intending to take her own life. Today, the film brings together three years of experiences, affections, and struggles within the trans and non-binary community in Chile; their memories and experiences connect with those of Ume, finding purpose through her recordings.

• Ume Tora Concha Bastián

  Director

  Audiovisual producer, multimedia artist, and trans activist. Ume graduated in 2019 from the Chilean Film School, working as an art director, photographer, and editor. The documentary Trans-mutable Tales is her debut feature as a director.

• Aura Sinclair

  Producer

  Director and producer of film, television, and video clips, graduated from the University of Chile. In 2019, she founded her production company Agencia Rekia, premiering her first feature film as a producer: Phantom Project by Roberto Doveris, at the Rotterdam International Film Festival (2020).
