Synopsis
One thousand five hundred bodies were buried in a clandestine grave built by the Brazilian military dictatorship. More than forty years later, a group of archaeologists tries to discover their identities, but a political change threatens to halt the work; a forensic documentary about the country’s memory contained in its bone remains.
Director
Tainá Muhringer is a screenwriter. Her interests are focused on writing about violence and crime. Written in Bones marks her debut as a director.
Producer
Angelo Ravazi has been working since 2008 as an executive producer. Graduated in Cinema and History, he founded Massa Real to promote new directors’ work and films of political and social relevance.
