The VIII Edition of the Meeting of the International Documentary Film Industry Conecta is approaching and will once again feature three workshops with top-level mentors to support compelling Latin American projects and propel them towards internationalization. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The meeting is scheduled from December 12 to 15, 2023, in Santiago, Chile, and will bring together representatives from 27 countries in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, including workshop participants and guests from the documentary industry.<\/p>\n

Out of a total of 113 applications<\/strong>, 16 projects were selected<\/strong>, with more than half directed by women. The films come from Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Panama, Mexico, and Chile. The evaluation committee comprised seven external reviewers and members of the Chilean Corporation of Documentary CCDoc<\/p>\n
