From December 10 to 13<\/strong>, Conecta<\/strong>, the 9th edition of the Meeting of the International Documentary Film Industry, will take place, featuring multiple panels<\/strong> for the audiovisual community to explore topics such as internationalization, distribution, the costs of making documentaries, current audience preferences, and more.<\/p>\n

All panels are free and open<\/strong> to the public and will be streamed on YouTube via the @ccdocumental<\/a> channel. They will include on-site simultaneous interpretation. All recordings, which will be uploaded
\nto the YouTube channel, will include Chilean Sign Language interpretation.<\/p>\n

The national and international routes taken by Chilean documentaries over the past eleven years will be presented in this study, which analyzed 297 Chilean documentaries\u2014151 feature films and 146 short films\u2014premiered between 2011 and 2022. Additionally, discover which countries the Chilean documentary sector co-produces with most frequently and where its main sources of foreign income come from.<\/p>\n
