Synopsis
Paulina embarks on a journey across the Great Island of Tierra del Fuego in search of Ulises, her missing friend. For over ten years, she records encounters, landscapes, and silences, discovering that her quest is not only for him but for herself — a way to exile from motherhood.

BA in Social Communication and Audiovisual Director from PUC Chile, MA in Socio-Spatial Practices from UDLA. Her work explores self-representation, memory, and territory. She directed Fragmentum Cinema: Dreams (2019), Bodies that Matter (2022), and is editing Hello Ulises, It’s Paulina.

Executive Producer. In 2019, she founded La Madre, a production company focused on female-driven stories and LGBTQ+ narratives. Executive Producer of «»Travesía Travesti»», «»Landless Children»», «»Dysphoria Football Club»», «»Hello Ulises, I’m Paulina»», among others.

Master’s student in Public Policy and Management, Public Administrator, and Bachelor in Political and Governmental Sciences. Producer at the Cineteca Nacional de Chile. At La Madre, he has worked on Travesía Travesti, Landless Children, Dysphoria Football Club, and Hello Ulysses, It’s Paulina.
Chiledoc Company
Founded in 2019, La Madre is an audiovisual production company made up of women, mothers, and sexual dissidents. Its mission is to shed light on stories and conflicts from underrepresented realities, contributing to their recognition and appreciation to foster a more just, empathetic, and inclusive society.
