Synopsis

The voices of three adult women open the doors of their childhood homes to go through them in a choral story. There still lives the darkness of the sexual abuse they suffered as children. After years of silence, today, they manage to let go of their nightmares to release their stories through mutual trust.

  Director

  Her short film Julieta y la luna won first place at Huesca International Film Festival in 2020. She is also a film editor and has worked on series for networks such as Disney+ and Natgeo Kids in animation studios such as Zumbastico Studios, Pipeline Studios, and Pájaro.

• Magdalena Hurtado

  Director

  Magdalena is an executive producer for film and television. She has led documentary and fiction projects for national and international channels and platforms. She was a producer and co-writer of the musical documentary Pangea. The Safest Place is her first project as a director.

• Ignacia Merino and Isabel Reyes

  Producers

  Isabel is an investigative journalist, producer, and director. Ignacia is an audiovisual director and executive producer. They work as a creative duo for documentary filmmaking. In 2017 they created Dos Be Producciones. Their debut feature, In the Shade of Light, is in the post-production stage.
