Doclisboa – Festival Internacional de Cinema
Doclisboa – International Film Festival is now preparing its 24th edition. It is a plural and vibrant space, which each year conceives an artistic program of excellence, with more than two hundred films and dozens of world and international premieres. The festival’s programming proposal is original, rigorous and internationally recognized, and it is complemented by a series of activities for industry professionals in the Nebulae program.
Hélder Beja
Director of Doclisboa and member of the board of directors of Apordoc – Association for Documentary Film. As an author and programmer, he has worked in journalism, literature and cinema. He is co-writer of the feature film Projecto Global and the series O Americano. In Asia, where he lived for a decade, he co-founded the Macao Literary Festival and was its director for seven editions.
