Festival de Cine Chileno FECICH
Festival of Chilean Films (FECICH) is a film competition primarily focusing on audience development. It originated in Quilpué, Valparaíso, Chile. With 16 years of existence, FECICH has established itself as a space for the promotion and reflection on national cinema, integrating both feature and short film formats. The festival has currently become a special space where filmmakers and audiences coexist as equals, generating a synergy where Chilean cinema is the protagonist.
Sebastián Cartajena
Filmmaker. Diploma in Cultural Mediation from CLACSO. Founder and Artistic Director of the Chilean Film Festival FECICH and the Quilpué Audiovisual Cultural Center. Responsible for Mediation and Audiences at the Valparaisos Film Festival Recobrado. He is currently directing the series «Creadores» and is the General Producer of the documentary «Ensayos y Errores.»
