The Corporación Cultural Visión Regional organizes the La Serena International Film Festival (FECILS), a competitive event with six categories and community outreach programs. In addition to screenings and retrospectives, it offers workshops and a Work in Progress space. The corporation also manages the Sala de Cine Latente cinema in the Coquimbo Region, which screens Chilean, Latin American, and international films. This cinema works to build audiences and promote and disseminate cinema.
Eduardo Pizarro
Filmmaker, producer, and cultural manager in the Coquimbo Region. Founder and Director of the La Serena International Film Festival (FECILS). Coordinates the Miradas and Butaca Regional programs. In 2024, he created the Sala de Cine Latente cinema.
