The La Serena International Film Festival FECILS is a competitive event with six categories and a program of extensions covering screenings in the fifteen administrative divisions of the Coquimbo Region. It also organizes workshops, retrospectives, screenings, and premieres of national films.
Eduardo Pizarro
Filmmaker, producer, and cultural manager of the Coquimbo Region. He has developed his work in the field of the creation, production, and di usion of regional films. He has directed several audiovisual pieces. He coordinates the programs Miradas Regionales and Acercando el Cine. Programmer of the Visión Norte movie theater. In 2015 he founded FECILS.

Current events, indigenous peoples, biographies or characters, social conflicts, human rights, ethnography.
