Synopsis

What would happen if a cloud of data traveled in search of its body and origin? Nubes artificiales is a journey through the materialities where digitality inhabits Chile, in which the cloud meets different living beings, animals, and people who live next to it or resist its presence, perceiving the planetary damage it generates.

  Josefina Buschmann is a researcher and documentalist (MsC MIT). She co-directed the documentary feature film God (Visions du réel, 2019). She directed the expanded documentary Operational Atmospheres (Forecast Forum, 2019) and the media installation The Fallen Clouds (Ars Electronica, 2022).

  Producer

  Daniela Camino (1989) is a producer, documentary filmmaker, and co-founder of Mimbre Films. She is the producer of The Journey of Monalisa (IDFA 2019), 130 Children (Chicago Latino FF 2022), and the short film in post-production Volver a Casa Madre VR and AliEN0089.
