Chilean production company specialized in family and social themes. In their productions, they use experimentation with archives to formulate novel ideas around identity, art, culture, heritage and territory.

Synopsis

In an attempt to rediscover the meaning of his craft and life, a filmmaker follows the process of rescuing a mural painted by his great-uncle Julio Escámez. As he reconstructs his history and that of his country, political disagreements between authorities interrupt the restoration work, once again threatening a historically fragile memory.

    Chilean filmmaker based in Mexico. It has two fiction feature films: «González, False Prophets» and «Sanguinetti», both with extensive experience in festivals and international recognition, including Best First Film in Montreal 2013 and Best Film in Freiburg FIFF 2015.

    Journalist and Master in Executive Production from ECAM. He was part of the team that discovered the mural «Principio y Fin» by Julio Escámez. He has produced various audiovisual works on heritage, identity and territory. With his production company he has won the Audiovisual Fund twice.

    Mexican, she studied Communication Sciences at ITESM and Linguistics at UNAM. She is a co-founder of AWKACINE, an independent film production company. “Sanguinetti” was her first feature film as a producer. She is currently developing “Days of Julio” and “Huahuantin” projects.
