AricaDoc is a cultural action program developed by the Cultural Corporation Cine Desierto, which aims to amplify access to documentary film in urban, rural and indigenous communities in the desert. Its work is carried out in 3 dimensions; 1) The AricaDoc International Documentary Film Festival, now in its eighth version, 2) An annual program of community film forums, and 3) Community creation workshops, residencies and other artistic training spaces.
Juan Pablo Donoso Alliende
Anthropologist and documentary filmmaker, in 2016 he participated in the birth of AricaDoc, which he has directed since then. His focus of interest is in mediation and documentary creation, developing a work perspective committed to community participation and social transformation.
