Taturana is a Brazilian social organization founded in 2014 with the mission of democratizing access to cinema and empowering it as a tool for social impact. The institution has carried out the impact distribution of more than 40 films and articulates a film exhibition circuit, including more than 3 thousand independent exhibitors. It also works to strengthen the field of impact distribution through laboratories, network articulation and the Latin American Film and Impact Forum.
Rodrigo Díaz
Director and producer, he started working in impact production at Taturana in 2020. He is currently the Project Director of the institution, and he is now responsible for coordinating all impact campaigns. He is one of the founders of the Latin American Forum on Film and Social Impact and a member of GIPA (Global Impact Producers Alliance).
Areas of interest
Documentaries, feature films, focused on racial and gender equity, environment, urban mobility, democracy, among other topics.
