Documenta Sur is a training, consulting, and professional networking program dedicated to Chilean documentary filmmaking. It was founded in Valdivia with the aim of decentralizing and promoting the audiovisual industry in the regions, connecting industry professionals with key international distribution agents. With a flexible model, each edition seeks to integrate workshops, residencies, and collaborative activities with a focus on the audiovisual ecosystem.
Alejandra Rosas
Journalist and cultural manager, with a master’s degree in Documentary Film from the University of Chile. She specialized in distribution at EICTV, Cuba. At Tonina Sur Films, she produces documentaries and series such as “Puerto Escondido” and “Vuelvo donde nunca estuve,” where ordinary people become amazing stories. She directs Documenta Sur.
