Synopsis
In a high-security module, writer Nona Fernández interviews Mauricio Hernández Norambuena, former militant of the Manuel Rodríguez Patriotic Front, sentenced to 30 years for being one of the intellectual authors of the assassination of Jaime Guzmán and for the kidnapping of Cristián Edwards. What begins as material for a book becomes an intimate and political journey that explores the convictions, contradictions and ghosts of a man who embodies the open wounds of Chile’s recent history.
Director and producer
Sebastián Moreno (Santiago, 1972), documentary filmmaker and cinematographer. His films explore memory, identity, and culture in Chile. Notable works include The City of Photographers (2006), Sergio Larraín: The Eternal Instant (2021), Guerrero (2017), and Habeas Corpus (2015).
