Synopsis

Through the energy of the wind, where sound waves travel, we will meet Amanda, a Mayan journalist who fights for freedom of expression for indigenous communities in Guatemala.

  Wanda López Trelles was born in Argentina in 1984. She is an audiovisual-multimedia producer. She makes auteur films and transdisciplinary artistic projects in various Latin American communities related to human rights with a gender and decolonial perspective. She created Wayusa Productora.

• Carolina

  Arias Ortiz

  Producer

  Carolina Arias Ortiz is a Costa Rican anthropologist and filmmaker. Her first feature film, “Rebellious Objects,” premiered at IDFA 2020 and received multiple awards. “Like a Flame in the Dark Night” received the IDFA Bertha Fund for development. This year, she is part of the EURODOC program.
