Synopsis
In 2015, my cousin Andrea was murdered by her partner in Bolivia, an event that made me reflect on what could have happened to me. Her story broke the silence within my family, leading us women to talk about the violence we have faced as a way to continue resisting and healing our history.
Director
Nina studied journalism at the EPCSG in CDMX. In 2018, she debuted with her feature, En el murmullo del viento, winning the sixth edition of DOCTV, among others. As a producer, she has worked on projects that have won the Ariel Award and been selected at festivals such as IDFA, Morelia, and Malaga.
Producer
Paula studied at the CCC and was the founder of FICCO. She was also the director of the National Cinematheque. She produced The Dead Don’t Hurt, directed by Viggo Mortensen, Trigal by Anabel, Caso and Noemí Gold by Dan Ruben, among many others.
Producer
Lourdes studied at the Universidad Iberoamericana in CDMX, trained as an assistant director, and then moved to production, where she made a series of short films for the World Cup in Brazil. She currently works with Estación Marte, developing several fiction and documentary projects.
