Synopsis

Director and protagonist of the documentary, Mariana, 40 years old, finds herself facing a doubt: will she be a mother or not? She closely follows her grandmother Lourdes’ Alzheimer, and the care given to her by her mother and aunts amidst much beauty, affection, and love.

  Emmy Award-winning director, Mariana is developing her first fiction feature, selected by the FSA (2018) and the Torino Film Lab (2019). Her documentary for Fox LATAM won the 2019 Emmy Kids Awards. She directed the short films O Remorso and El cuento de Lucía.

  Producer, Morena Koti made her debut with Raquel 1:1 (SXSW 2022), awarded at Puerto Vallarta and screened at FICG, Mostra SP, among others. She is currently completing the fiction feature Viúvos, directed by Mariana Youssef, and producing the auteur documentary Lourdes, by Mariana Cobra.
