ARTE is a public european cultural plateform. It offers its programs on three different vectors (non-linear plateform, social channels and accounts, linear tv). Arte is available in 6 different languages all over Europe. Subdivided into three main companies: ARTE France, ARTE Deutschland, and ARTE GEIE, ARTE showcases Europe’s rich cultural diversity. In-depth, sensitive, and original documentaries and film documentaries account for 40% of ARTE’s programming.
Alexandre Marionneau
After being a teacher abroad, working in France 2 as a commissioning editor (for the society strand and 25 shades of doc) then running an NGO, Alexandre Marionneau is now head of international coproductions for the Society and Culture Department of ARTE France.
