Doclisboa takes place every October. We are particularly interested in new forms of relationship between cinema and reality, and we seek proposals that involve engagement with the world, considering cinema as a political and artistic practice.
Cecilia Barrionuevo
Co-Head of Program for Doclisboa Film Festival and Programmer at Large for Film at Lincoln Center. She was Artistic Director of the Mar del Plata International Film Festival (2018-2021). She has been a Visiting Scholar at Harvard University and has training in film restoration from FIAF, ACE, Cineteca di Bologna, and L’Immagine Ritrovata.
