RIDM – Montréal International Documentary Festival
The Montreal International Documentary Festival (RIDM) is one of North America’s leading documentary film festivals. The festival seeks first and foremost to promote and reflect on the most stimulating and diverse visions of documentary cinema. From works dealing with hot-button issues to daring creations that renew the language of cinema, the RIDM’s selections are aimed at an annual renewal of our relationship with the world and with the documentary as an art form.
Ana Alice de Morais
She is a producer from Brazil, whose films have been featured at prestigious festivals like Berlinale and IFFR. In 2018, she moved to Montreal/Tiohtià:ke in Canada and became co-artistic director of RIDM – the Montreal International Documentary Festival in 2021. In 2023, she expanded her role to programming director of the Forum RIDM.
