Synopsis

After discovering unpublished documents about her astrophysicist great-grandfather lost in a vault at a Chilean observatory, Amanda, a young filmmaker, decides to make a documentary about him—but an autoimmune disease will threaten both her and her film project.

  Bachelor in Documentary Filmmaking. Master’s degree in Sociology. In 2014, her short film De los 90 y algo was selected at the Rengo Film Festival. Her short film Efecto Felino was part of ARICADOCS in 2019. She is currently working on her debut feature film, Asteroide 2518.

  Audiovisual Director from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He has carried out a series of audiovisual projects in various formats, including Camila Moreno: Las Ruinas del Oro (In-Edit, 2014), Sobre los Muertos (SANFIC, 2018), and Todo se Quemará (SANFIC, 2024).
