Synopsis
Loreto, a newcomer from Chile, finds family photos at a tram stop in Cologne. This random event connects her with other immigrants living in the NRW region and with a local ally. Numbed memories come afloat as she digs, talks, and feels old things.
Director and producer
Loreto Quijada studied film at the Chile Film School, where she specialized in Editing and Post-production. She later completed a Bachelor’s degree in Documentary Film and a Master’s degree in Digital Narratives. In 2018, she moved to Cologne, Germany.
Markets and Festival handler
Chilean producer trained at the French Lussas documentary film school, she founded Faro cine to focus on creative documentary projects between Chile and Europe.

Faro Cine is an audiovisual production company with experience in national and international non-fiction cinema. We are interested in film as an aesthetic experience and in real-life stories as a pretext to delve into human nature—its joys, contradictions, and dilemmas.
