Cultural space that welcomes all forms of expression and manifestation: cinema, music, performing arts, visual arts, and more. It features the best of both national and international art cinema, focusing on independent productions. Its location allowed them to be witnesses and participants in the Chilean Social Uprising until a fire devastated the entire space. After the incident, they launched centroartealameda.tv. Today, they are at the Extension Center of the National Institute.
Francisca Lila
Francisca Lila has studied Film, Criticism, and Film Distribution in France and Spain. She has also worked at the Spanish Film Archive (Filmoteca Española) and at the Ñuble Film Festival. As a director, she has made short films that premiered at the Biarritz Film Festival, Filmadrid in Spain, and on the Mubi platform.
