Synopsis
In Catamarca, Juanjis, a young gay Indigenous man, lives amidst local festivities, community traditions, and a silent love. When given the chance to study dance, he confronts his identity as the “bad light,” an ancestral phenomenon, guides him on a journey of self-discovery.

Paula Martel has worked on notable productions, including CHOCOBAR by Lucrecia Martel. BAD LIGHT, her debut documentary, was selected at Doculab de las Alturas, awarded at FIDBA, competes at Asterisco Festival, and will be at SANFIC 2025.
Producer
Francisco Novick, producer and director, premiered his feature films TIEMPO PERDIDO and POLÍTICO in Mar del Plata. With DOLINA, LA VOZ DE LA NOCHE, he won the ICAU Fund and was recently selected for the Locarno Academy at BRLab, Brazil.
