The mission of the Cineteca Nacional de Chile at Centro Cultural La Moneda is to preserve, conserve, and disseminate the country’s cinematographic and audiovisual heritage and promote knowledge of it. It is a member of the FIAF International Federation of Film Archives and the CLAIM Latin American Coordination of Moving Image Archives. It has two movie theaters, an online site with more than five hundred heritage titles, and a VOD platform, in addition to its archive with air-conditioned vaults, a physical film restoration workshop, and a digital restoration laboratory.
Alejandra Bize Vivanco
Degree in Aesthetics, PUC. Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Cultural Management at UCH. Experience in the development of cultural projects in the area of programming, mediation and audience training. She worked in executive production assistance and commercial film distribution at Quijote Films and was producer of the international area of CinemaChile.
