The Festival dei Popoli – International Documentary Film Festival is Italy’s leading event for creative documentaries and experimental cinema, and the oldest in Europe. The 66th edition (Florence, 1–9 November 2025) features international and national competitions, retrospectives, tributes, masterclasses, debates, youth programmes, the Doc at Work Future Campus for young directors, and the Doc at Work Industry for emerging talents with projects in development and post-production.
Margot Mecca
Margot Mecca is an Italian film programmer and producer based in Barcelona. She is part of the selection committee of Festival dei Popoli and serves as Head of the industry platform Doc at Work. Margot also co-directs the experimental AI film programme at +RAIN Film Festival and regularly collaborates Visions du Réel, FIDMarseille, and Majordocs.
