Synopsis
Between Mexico, New York, the Dominican Republic, and Kyiv, a daughter searches for traces of her mother: a Black woman, scientist, and migrant. Through fragments, letters, and conflicting voices, she explores silence, identity, and emotional education in Blackness as inheritance and survival.

Tatiana García is a Creative Producer with 25 years of experience in film and media. She has led award-winning documentaries between Mexico and the U.S., collaborating with Netflix, PBS, NBC, and Sesame Workshop, focusing on Afro-descendant and diverse stories.

Emiliano Altuna is a Mexican director and producer, graduate of ESCAC. His documentaries El Alcalde and El Ciruelo have earned international awards. His work explores politics, memory, and contemporary social tensions in Mexico.

Pedro G. García is a Mexican editor and screenwriter with over 30 credits in film and documentary. His work includes The Man Who Saw Too Much, In Broad Daylight: The Narvarte Case, and 2033: Future Apocalypse. His storytelling focuses on memory and social change.
