Synopsis

Based on unpublished letters and photographs, The Other Voice reconstructs the years of Mercedes Sosa’s exile (1979–1982). An intimate and political portrait of the woman behind the icon, revealing her strength, her fragility, and the power of her voice as an instrument of resistance and collective memory.

  Audiovisual producer and filmmaker. Since 2017 she has directed Fiørd Estudio. An archive specialist, she teaches the workshop Cuerpo de Archivos (EICTV, Cuba). She co-directed Los Arcontes, and her debut film Danubio was screened and awarded at national and international festivals.

  Director, screenwriter, and producer. His debut feature Verdades Verdaderas (2011) was selected at over 30 festivals. He founded Gaman Cine, producing Las grietas de Jara (2018), Como el mar and Traslados (2024, Cannes and San Sebastián). He co-produced EAMI (Tiger Award, Rotterdam).
