Synopsis

In 2015, my cousin Andrea was murdered by her partner in La Paz, Bolivia; this made me realize it could have happened to me. Through her story, the silence in my family was broken, and we began to speak about our experiences of violence.
Together, we tried to understand how to keep resisting and how to heal our history.

  She has worked on projects such as Yuban (Ariel 2012, IDFA), Fractal (Málaga Film Festival), and Se llama Flor (FICM, San Diego). His first documentary feature, In the Whisper of the Wind, was distributed throughout the region, earning awards such as the Brazil Sound Design Biennial, among others.

  She works with Estación Marte Films, currently with two feature films in post-production and developing various projects in both documentary and fiction. Recently, she is producing Woman of the Mountain and The Middleman, a co-production with Guatemala.
