Synopsis
A Mapuche HISTORIAN (36) traces the experience of his people in Santiago, from its founding in 1541 to the defeat of the plurinational New Constitution proposal led by Elisa Loncon. Under the concept of pewma («dream»), we trace a journey through photographs, paintings, and performances to imagine the becoming of a champuria («mixed») city.
Director
Claudio Alvarado Lincopi, Santiago (1988). Graduate in History (UAHC), Master in History and Memory (UNLP). Doctor in Architecture and Urban Studies (PUC). Curator of the Chilean Museum of Pre-Columbian Art. His work addresses issues of migration, racism and the indigenous in the contemporary city.

Producer
Sofía del Pozo Sierralta (1996) is an Anthropologist (PUC) and has worked at the Laboratory of Anthropology and Visual Archeology since 2021. Co-director of the short documentary “No Somos invisibles” (2020) and producer of “Entre el desierto y los olivos” (2024).
