Synopsis

Hermelindo Coc Pop, Juan Coy, Pablo Coy, and Marcelino Che share a history of resistance and struggle. After being elected authorities at the same time and participating in the expulsion of German overseers, they face criminalization and violence in their fight to reclaim their lands. They are preparing for legal action against the government.

She won Ambulante Netflix funding for her project Se’ K’o and Climate Story Lab for Qiyaj, as well as ACAMPADOC. She has directed two short films: Metzew (Energy) in 2023 and Komonil in 2024.
