Synopsis

Questioning what it means to “not end up alone”, Tatiana explores the life of her grandma Teresa, an imposing woman, owner of a movie theater, who divorced three times and challenged her era’s social norms in Dominican society. The journey takes her through archives, films and letters, building a story about love, expectations and solitude.

  She studied Advertising and rgot a Fulbright scholarship to pursue her MA in Photojournalism at the University of Missouri. There she started working on a piece that would become her first feature, «Nana». Her second documentary is «Santo Domingo Waltz». She’s a photographer for international media.
