DocMontevideo is a meeting of Latin American documentary filmmakers with training, market and exhibition activities. It has been held every year since 2009. It is considered a market and festival of reference in Latin America. It is the largest audiovisual market in Uruguay, the main pitching forum for documentary projects in the continent and the meeting point for public and cultural television stations in Latin America.

Luis González Zaffaroni
Born in 1975, he is a director and producer, founder and executive director of DocMontevideo, a documentary meeting of Latin American television stations. He is a member of the advisory board of the TAL – Televisión América Latina network. Content Advisor for TevéCIUDAD channel in Montevideo (2012-13).
